Ukraine was attacked by Russia. Not the best time for music and breaking, it may seem. But the war changes the attitude to many things. You appreciate more what you previously could underestimate. You appreciate the opportunity to do what you did in peacetime. You hope that your work can help at least a little, mentally, not to fall out of reality for those guys who had to leave their house or their house was bombed. Someone will be able to turn on these tracks in training and teach children to dance so that they are distracted from the ongoing trash. Those who left the country will be able to listen or practice to the tracks of their DJ. In the end, you can always turn on the tracks in the car and do useful things to the invigorating beats - carry humanitarian aid or just do your job, pay taxes and help the country stand against the aggressor.
This is the reality in Ukraine now.
And this album is the result of my experience as a break DJ in the length of 13-14 years.
The name of the album - "Fighting Hopak" - is the name of a combat dance based on the Ukrainian dance - hopak. If you want - something similar in principle to capoeira. Details can be read in Wikipedia.
